Tennessee: Andy Melton Andy took this nice tom with a bow one day after he spooked him out of the same field. The bird came in quiet but ran into the setup once he saw the decoy.

Illinois: Andy and Heather Melton Heather called her bird up at first light for a perfect hunt. On the way back to the truck Andy fired up another gobbler and was able to seal the deal. Two toms down before breakfast on opening day!

Kansas: Josh Whitehill Josh gets it done on another Rio with his bow. This was a big bird he'd been hunting for several days before finally getting into position with a strutting decoy.

Pennsylvania: Ian Kramer The Kramer brothers learned how to hunt gobblers in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Every season they bring us awesome hunts and this one was no exception.

Pennsylvania: Jared Kramer Jared took this bird with no ground blind. He managed to stay hidden in the tree line and make a perfect shot on this nice tom.

Minnesota: Wade Christopherson Wade named this bird "Walter" after he repeatedly gave him the slip. He closed the deal with the help of his Dakota jake decoy.

Tennessee: David Williams and Andy Melton Don't give up turkey hunting because of a short rain shower. This pair of two year old toms came in strutting and gobbling in a downpour around 11 a.m.

Missouri: Brant Long Brant called this bird up and managed a 50 yard shot on opening day.

Kentucky: Brent George Brent shot this tom on an early morning hunt with Jim Ryser. The guys decided not to use a decoy and brought the bird in looking for a hen.

Missouri: Sam Kendrick and Aaron Warbritton Sam and Aaron doubled on these toms at 12:55 p.m. Only 5 minutes before the 1 o'clock closing time.

Iowa: Jim Ryser Jim called up a pair of huge toms from nearly 1/2 mile away! This bird had close to 1 1/2 inch spurs!
